The Iftar Mahfil Project 2026 is a grassroots humanitarian initiative dedicated to sharing the blessings of Ramadan with those who need it most. In a world of rising costs, our mission is to ensure that no one—regardless of their financial standing—faces an empty plate at sunset.

Our Mission

We aim to provide nutritious, high-quality meals to marginalized communities, including day laborers, orphans, and families living in extreme poverty. This project moves beyond simple charity; it is about creating a space of belonging and dignity.

Core Activities

  • Community Mahfils: Hosted sit-down dinners where the underprivileged are treated as honored guests, fostering a sense of social equality.
  • Ramadan Ration Packs: Weekly distributions of staples (rice, lentils, oil, and dates) to help families prepare their own Sahri and Iftar at home.
  • Street-Side Iftar: Quick-response meal boxes for those working through the sunset hour, such as rickshaw pullers and security guards.

Why 2026?

With Ramadan 2026 falling during the transition into spring, nutrition and hydration are critical. Our meals are designed by nutritionists to provide sustained energy, featuring:

  • Hydration: Fresh water and fruit juices.
  • Energy: Premium dates and complex carbohydrates.
  • Protein: Balanced meat or legume-based main courses.

The Goal

Our target for 2026 is to serve [Insert Number] meals across the month. By removing the stress of food insecurity, we allow our brothers and sisters to focus on their prayers and spiritual growth.
